Synopsis

When the Taliban took over in Afghanistan they enforced strict sharia laws and a criminalization of photography. After the fall of the regime a photographic revolution took place. This film tells the stories of four Afghan photojournalists and their regained photographic freedom.

In the presence of Leslie Knott. After the screening, the audience can discuss with award winning filmmaker and photojournalists Leslie Knott, who worked 14 years in Afghanistan and has met one of the photojournalists of our story.
