The Verdict of the August War discusses the impact of the Caucasus War in August 2008. From the perspective of the years 2009/10, Mamuka Kuparadze tries to take a retrospective look at the events of the military conflict between Georgia, Russia and the internationally unrecognized republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which lasted only five days. The director gives official government officials, experts, journalists and witnesses a platform and clarifies the relationship between the armed conflicts in 2008 and the current situation in Georgia.
