Every day Solangel, Teodoro and Rubén trundle their way through the chaotic, densely populated streets of Bogota searching for food, money, employment and justice. Like many thousands of Colombians, they have been forcibly displaced from their homes and made to experience the agony of losing loved ones to the brutal recruitment forces of FARC guerrilla and paramilitary units. Financial aid has been promised but Teodoro hasn't seen any for over a year. Government workshops run in aid of the displaced population pay Rubén a few pesos but this barely covers the bus fare to get there. On some days the only meal available is a single cup of coffee.
