Daniel is an exceptional footballer, a striker. Julio is the team's captain, a born leader. As a baby, Daniel was rescued from a dumpster by Julio's mother and the two were raised and loved as family, dreaming of escaping their Caracas slum, La Ceniza, to play pro football on the world stage. The dream is more intense for Daniel, who trains hard while Julio mixes in with a shady local gang and spares little time to dream. The opportunity of their lives arrives when a football scout invites them to try-out with the Caracas Football Club, the best team in the city but tragedy strikes and, on a dirty pitch, they are faced with a bitter choice: family, revenge or the dream of their lives.
