Salvador doesn't have an easy life: his favorite fighting cock dies overnight, he cannot satisfy his wife and his son is obviously not his. On top of everything, one morning the farmer comes across a mountain of corpses in his cornfield. Since it is currently election time, the city is full of international observers, but in spite of everything, no one seems to pay much interest to the accumulated dead in his field, or to feel at all responsible. So begins Salvadores personal nightmare that ends in disturbing allegories and a silent indictment of the protagonists of the Colombian civil war.
